PLEASE NOTE: Sourdough starter is a living entity; it needs regular feeding. For best results, feed your starter within 24 hours of receiving it. Your live sourdough starter may look/smell a little worse for the wear after its trip to your home, this is normal. What it needs is food: flour & water. Please read below for the materials you will need to purchase in addition to this sourdough kit to be prepared to feed your live active starter when it arrives at your home.

There are no refunds concerning your starter unless it is damaged at its arrival, please contact Sour Flour within 5 hours of receiving it to notify us, it is your responsibility to keep it alive once it arrives to your home.
